Well, this is finally the first post of the blog! I wanted to be something special and that's why I spent the last month thinking on what to post. I was thinking on posting about the US Open, since tennis is a big part of my life, but then I though it wasn't appropriate. Then I tough "OK! I'm gonna post about my first day in senior class!" But I don't start 'em until next Monday. So I finally decided to do my first post telling you a little about me.
Well, starting, English is not my mother tongue, but since I'm studding English, writing in the language helps my a lot. I'm 16 years old and my birthday is June 5th. I'm a help of an example for a Gemini, have two faces in every moment. A least I'm not bipolar =D
I'm in my 1st year in senior school and I'm planning on studding medicine or Architecture, two complicated careers, but I love them!
As I wrote you before, I'm starting senior school next Monday. New shirt, new laws, new teachers and, hopeful, new friends. But I'll talk about that in another post. Maybe this Monday.
Between the thing I love, tennis is the very first. I can live and die for tennis. You can't imagine how I felt in the US Open, with that incredible final.
As such a great tennis fan, I have a fav tennis player as well. Roger Federer. The player who is considered, and not considered, best player of all time. I do have another fav tennis player, but as a huge fan of Roger, when those two play together, is all about Roger Federer. The other one is the Serbian Novak Djokovic. In the female side I can mention the new american player, Melanie Oudin, after hell a surprise in the USO, who can't? And also a venezuelan player named Gabriela Paz-Franco, after all, she's the Top player here.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I live in Venezuela, Maracaibo. Beautiful city.
I love Jason Mraz's music, and as well, I go green with almost everything :D You can say he has been a good model for me. And I'm praying for him to come to Venezuela. Is not such a bad country. It has beautiful places, like the Basilica de La Chinita, in the picture.
Well, I think that's all for today. I have English classes tomorrow and I need to get ready. Anyway, I'll let you with a song by Jason Mraz. Live High.
Feel free to comment anything and anytime!
Jaime
